Who is virtual knowledge test tutoring for?

Anyone who wants a little extra help before retaking the Virginia DMV knowledge exam. That includes people preparing for a second or third attempt, and people who have already failed the knowledge exam three times and want focused practice before going back in.

What we cover in the session

Sixty minutes, shaped around you. During the session we will:

  • Review sample questions covering the general knowledge portion of the Virginia DMV exam
  • Work through commonly confused traffic signs, with tips to help you recognize and remember them
  • Talk through the questions or topics you remember struggling with on previous attempts
  • Identify the areas where you need additional review
  • Share test-taking tips and strategies so you walk in feeling prepared for your next attempt
This is not a Driver Manual Course. It does not replace any course or certificate the Virginia DMV requires after three failed knowledge exam attempts. If you've failed three times, you still need the 8-hour driver manual course — this session is additional, focused, one-on-one preparation to take alongside it.

How it works

Come with any notes from your previous attempts — the more you can tell us about what tripped you up, the more useful the hour will be.

Tutoring does not guarantee you'll pass the knowledge exam. It gives you a focused hour on exactly the material and strategies you're missing.
